Why take Chemistry?
Learning chemistry means discovering what the world around us is made of. That every material behaves the way it does because at its tiniest level, atoms, ions, and molecules are dictating its properties. That scientific discovery and history are intertwined, such as how the discovery of nuclear power altered the course of the twentieth century. That chemical reactions drive our world, our energy, and our very lives. Public Domain Photo of Marie Curie. |
